Join us to cycle the famous Northern Coast to Coast Cycle ride from Whitehaven to Tynemouth.
Starting out with your rear wheel in the Irish Sea at Whitehaven you will pedal 140 miles over 3 days, through the Northern Lake District, climbing the Pennines, descending to the railway paths of County Durham, before finally reaching Tynemouth where your front wheel will finish in the North Sea!
Day 1: Whitehaven to Penrith (53 miles)
Day 2: Penrith to Consett (56 miles)
Day 3: Tynemouth (28 miles)
Raising money for the Alzheimer's Society
As voted by our Dentists and Practice Managers at the Forums this year you have chosen to support the Alzheimer's Society, a care and research charity for people with dementia and their carers. So get on your bike and raise money for this great cause while achieving your own personal challenge!
We ask you to have a target aim to raise £200 for this great cause!
The Events Support
The events team will help you every step of the way with this challenge. Arranging all accommodation and meals over the 3 days as well as transporting your luggage so you can concentrate on the cycling. There will be two support vehicles on the route each day offering you snacks, drinks and lunch throughout the day as well as helping with any bike issues.
Registration Fee is £300 per cyclist and this includes:
• Accommodation - Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• Dinner - Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• Lunch – Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Luggage transport
• Cycle Jersey
• Snacks and water on the route
• The Events Team Support all the way!
Not included in the registration fee is
• Alcoholic drinks
• Travel to and from the start/end points
