However, with the considerable day to day pressures of running the modern dental practice the immediate, and sometimes urgent, issues facing us can cause us to lose sight of the fundamental truth.

- The importance of our patients’ oral health to our success
- How job satisfaction for the whole dental team works towards our success
- The issues most important in achieving patient satisfaction
- How to set up a concise patient survey designed to measure practice success

This online course (providing 20 hours of CPD) explores the importance of leadership in dental practice. John Kotter, writing in the Harvard Business Review, suggested: ‘More change always demands more leadership’. These are certainly changing times in dentistry! This session will propose three pillars for good leadership in dental practice, and, through private study, supplemented by a downloadable workbook, take you through some ideas on how to develop your leadership skills.

- Three leadership styles and three pillars of effective leadership
- How to define a clear vision for the future of your practice
- The importance of your own motivation and behaviour in inspiring your team towards success
- How we deliver on our key intended outcomes
