The Denplan Stairway Programme
This is a new, exciting and flexible way to gain verifiable CPD and
credits towards an MSc through attendance at a series of
Training Events
and completion of practice based projects.
Training Events cover the latest ideas in preserving dentine to effective
team motivation, planning complex restorative cases and predictable
periodontal therapy.

Each
Training event
gives you six hours of verifiable CPD. For details of what each unit
involves, please

Practice based projects
You can follow each Training event with a relevant practice based project
which will give you a further 14 hours of
verifiable CPD making 20 hours in total and two educational credits.
There are also two further units for you to gain educational
credits towards the Stairway Programme:

Denplan National Conference
(plus completion of the associated practice project) gains two
educational credits |

Ongoing
Denplan Excel Accreditation gives you four educational credits |
Further programme information
- * Three units are compulsory for attaining the
award - Patient Governance, Team Governance and CPD Essentials
- You require a total of 20 educational credits
to gain the Denplan Stairway Award. These may then be put towards
gaining an MSc in Primary Dental Care from Birmingham University
- Delegates can attend as many
Training Events
as they want and are welcome to extend the scheme for any period of time
