Oral Health Score^©(OHS)

The Oral Health Score^© is an innovative system for methodically reviewing the health of a patient's teeth and mouth. This gives you a consistent base against which you can measure the effectiveness of your care over time.

The system prompts you to undertake a defined set of oral assessments, including periodontal status and mucosal health, which are strongly recommended by leading professional authorities. In addition to clinical data, the OHS^© captures patient perceptions of their oral health, encouraging greater involvement and discussion on possible future treatments.

OHS^© scores are communicated to patients in a way that can be easily understood, so that they hold real meaning for them and add true value to their preventive dental care.

Denplan provides you with special OHS^© training and specific materials when you join the programme.
