Business Development Patient Survey

As part of the Denplan Excel Accreditation Programme a random selection of your patients are asked to take part in a survey which is conducted on your behalf and in your practice's name. It is conducted every three years following the first accreditation.

 

The survey is run by an independent market research agency which issues questionnaires to patients and analyses the data on behalf of each practice. Dentists are given the results of their own practice as well as a national benchmark score for comparative purposes.

 

The survey captures patient feedback on a wide range of issues, including waiting times, how they view their dentist and hygienist, overall satisfaction and any new areas of business development or services that patients would like to see, for example; the introduction of cosmetic treatments.

 

The process is undertaken in accordance with the Data Protection Act and individual patient responses are confidential. However, results from your patient survey will be seen by your Denplan Consultant, unless you would prefer them to remain private. In which case, you will need to 'opt out' by notifying your Consultant. If you wish, Denplan can help you analyse your results and support you in implementing improvements within your practice.
