What is Supplementary Insurance?
As a mandatory part of your plan, Denplan arranges Supplementary Insurance for you. This policy provides you with cover towards the cost of treatment received as a result of dental accidents and emergencies. You are covered for accident and emergency treatment received in the UK or abroad. For more details on this cover, refer to the Supplementary Insurance Policy Document.
How do I make an insurance claim?
To make a claim you need to complete a claim form and return it to Denplan. Claim forms should be received by Denplan within 60 days of the incident. Don’t worry if you or the dentist do not have a claim form to hand at the time of treatment; simply ask them to write details of the emergency on the surgery’s headed paper and sign it. Attach these details to a claim form and send them to us.
Claim forms can be obtained from your dentist, or from Denplan by calling us on freephone 0800 085 0960. Lines are open 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Thursday, and 08:30 to 16:30 on Fridays. Alternatively, you can download a claim form.
Before submitting your claim, you should check the scale of benefits, which can be found in your Policy Document, as payments will only be reimbursed up to policy limits.
