Implants Upgrade

As an upgrade to your Supplementary Insurance, Implants cover provides you with cover and benefits towards implant treatment costs which arise as a result of a dental injury.

By adding Implant Upgrade cover to your Supplementary Insurance policy you will have added peace of mind that in the event of a dental injury you can discuss the most up to date treatment for tooth replacement. Your oral health may affect whether implants are the right solution for you.

What is an Implant?
Implants look and feel like real teeth. A permanent titanium ‘root’ is implanted into the gum and bone and when it is healed a crown-type ‘tooth’ (or bridge) is permanently fixed to it.

Such a high level of finish, precision and confidence comes at an understandably higher price. But with Implant Upgrade Insurance, cost is less of a barrier.

For a small additional monthly charge, you can enjoy:

Tick Up to £2,060 per implant after a dental injury, where appropriate for your dental health
Tick Maximum cover of £20,000 per incident
Tick An advanced treatment option, unhampered by the issue of cost

Implant Upgrade Insurance does not cover:

Cross Injury caused other than by a direct external impact to the mouth
Cross Dental treatment which was prescribed, planned or taking place at the commencement date of your Implant Upgrade cover.
Cross A dental injury which occured within 28 days of the commencement date of the policy.
Cross The placement of an implant into a toothless space or where your dentist or specialist deems it clinically inappropriate, or replacement following the failure of an implant to integrate

This summary is a brief description of the Implants Upgrade insurance which is underwritten by AXA PPP healthcare limited. It does not contain the full terms and conditions which can be found in the policy addendum and should be read in conjunction with the Supplementary Insurance policy document.
