Plan details & payment options

Denplan has arranged a range of plans and services to help provide cover for your pupils’ health and wellbeing needs. The range of plans provides cover for accidents, as well as dental injuries and dental emergencies. You also have access to a range of services to give you, your pupils and their parents support when it's needed the most.

Please note: Some exclusions and limitations apply to these policies.  For example, claims as result of participation in any professional sport are not covered.  For full details of the benefits and exclusions of the plans please view the Terms and Conditions

Denplan for Schools

  • Pupils have cover up to £10,000 per policy year for dental injuries, and £2,000 per policy year for dental emergencies
  • Plus mouth cancer cover up to £12,000

Personal Accident plan

  • Provides cover up to £250,000 for a range of personal accidents and injuries
  • Hospital cash benefits, including cover for burns and scolds, is also included

Sports Physiotherapy plan

  • Provides cover if a pupil suffers a sporting injury which requires physiotherapy
  • Benefits cover 75% of the cost up to £225 per policy year

Presenting the plans to parents

We have created three different pricing options to ensure that you can present the plans to parents in the way that best suits your school. Choose from the options below:

Option 01

Include all plans as part of the school fees and benefit from the lowest termly rate.

Option 02

Allow parents the option to opt-out of any of the plans when they receive their fee bill, giving them the freedom to select their own package.

Option 03

Include Personal Accident as part of the fees and give parents the option to opt-out of Denplan for Schools and Sports Physiotherapy plan.

The premium parents will pay is determined by the way you choose to present the plans to them.

 

Frequently asked questions

  • Can I set up individual plans for my school?The plans are designed to complement each other and you can choose to offer parents the opt-out payment method if you want them to have the option to select from the range of plans available.
  • Are pupils covered all year round?The Denplan for Schools plan and the AXA PPP healthcare Sports Physiotherapy plan cover pupils all year round; the AXA PPP healthcare Personal Accident plan provides cover only while pupils are under the care of your school.
  • What do I need to do?We will supply you with the necessary booklets to send to parents with their fee bill – all you have to do is provide us with the numbers of pupils you need to cover each term.

Administering the plans

  • Add the premium of your chosen plans to the termly fee bill. We will provide you with brochures to send alongside your termly bills explaining everything parents need to know about the plans. Parents can call Denplan with any queries or questions about the plans.
  • Submit pupil numbers to be covered on each plan. You can do this online or by post.
  • Denplan will send you an invoice for the term (including your administration rebate). You can pay this by BACs or cheque.
