Employee Engagement

Love your health, love your teeth

We’re passionate about dental care and we like to help our clients communicate the importance of good oral health to their employees. Our aim is to keep the UK in good dental health by raising awareness with campaigns throughout the year.

For 2016 our primary focus is around health and wellbeing and how having a dental plan can contribute towards this.  You can download our 2016 H&W calendar to see what we're planning.

You can use these campaigns to promote oral and overall health and wellbeing to your employees.   We can tailor any of these campaigns for your company throughout the year so please, get in touch with us and we can work with you to produce the materials you need.

Dry January

January 2016

The New Year period is a good opportunity for setting resolutions and improving our lifestyle. It is also a time when we traditionally seek to undo the excesses of the festive season, in which alcohol frequently plays a part. Throughout the month we’ll be supporting Dry January and hope to raise awareness of the oral health messages that are linked to alcohol.

How important is your smile?  According to recent research a smile ranks top of the things we first notice when meeting new people.  We all know how important first impressions are! Following these 3 simple steps to ensure you keep a healthy mouth and make the right first impression.
  • Brushing your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste
  • Visiting the dentist regularly, as often as they recommend
  • Cutting down on the frequency of sugary foods and drinks

Bruxism is the term for excessive grinding of the teeth or excessive grinding of the jaw. It can often occur at night and sufferers can be left feeling the effects for some time after.

We want to raise awareness of bruxism and help with suggestions on how to manage it and reduce the impact it can have on oral health.

 my dental score

My Dental Score

My Dental Score is an online tool that employees can use to get a quick assessment of their oral health. This helps them choose the right level of cover for them if there is more than one available and the report can also be taken to the dentist when they have an appointment to aid the dentist in their assessment.
