Denplan Quality Programme

What is the Denplan Quality Programme?

 

We developed our Denplan Quality Programme (DQP) to offer simple guidance to best practice. The DQP helps you comply with clinical governance and dental industry standards. This programme makes it easy for you and your team to comply with changes in legislation. The DQP forms part of our Denplan Excel accreditation.

The Denplan Quality Programme gives your patients peace of mind. They have the Denplan promise that their dentist complies with the law. And they know their dentist cares about best practice in their work. It also shows patients your commitment to quality care and ongoing improvement.

 

 

What does it entail?

 

When you become a member dentist, you join the Denplan Quality Programme at no extra cost. 

 

New Denplan members are invited to fill in a Practice Development Profile (PDP). Your free PDP is an ideal way to make sure your practice is fully up-to-date with all the latest legislation. It covers everything from compliance with the CQC and other national regulatory bodies, to decontamination regulations. 

 

Once you've filled in your free PDP, you'll get a report from us. This report will advise and reassure you on legislative compliance and best practice. It will also benchmark your practice against other member practices. You will be able to prioritise any areas of development. 

 

We will also contact you to arrange an appropriate date for a Facilitated Practice Assessment (FPA). A facilitated visit is carried out by one of our Practice Advisors. It involves you taking patient-free time while the assessment is carried out. An FPA usually takes about three hours.
