November 2019 is Mouth Cancer Action Month and we want you to get involved and show off your #BlueLipSelfie to help us raise awareness about mouth cancer.
Every year, more than 7,000 people are diagnosed with mouth cancer in the UK and we are passionate about encouraging as many people as possible to start talking about the disease and to understand the risks and symptoms.
You can create and upload your own #BlueLipSelfie easily and quickly at www.bluelipselfie.co.uk where you can also take a look at our gallery. Alternatively, why not submit your snaps to our gallery from Twitter or Instagram by using #BlueLipSelfie?
Whether you strike a pose using cartoon lips, stickers, or blue lipstick, your visible show of support will help us make people more aware about mouth cancer, and crucially, encourage people to get any concerns they may have checked out. Early detection of the disease can transform survival rates from 50% to 90%.
Mouth cancer remains one of very few cancers which is predicted to increase further in the coming years, making it more important than ever to raise awareness of this disease.Find out more »
