We wanted to update you on how we’re responding to the challenges of Coronavirus (COVID-19). The outbreak means we are facing unprecedented times. At Denplan, we are making every effort to provide support to our member dentists, their practice teams, and their patients.
Guidance and advice is changing almost on a daily basis and in order for us to support you and your business as best we can it is important we follow the guidance provided by the health authorities and government to keep our employees safe and healthy. From a clinical perspective Catherine Rutland, our Clinical Director, will be updating her blog with links to relevant government sites as things change. This can be viewed here. You should also look out for communications sent to you in each jurisdiction with specific local advice.
We’re continuously reviewing our contingency plans to reduce risk and make sure you continue to be supported by our customer teams. We’ve already taken a range of steps to maintain our service to you. You may experience a longer than usual wait time when contacting us while the COVID-19 situation continues. If that happens we apologise in advance and promise that we will return to normal service as quickly as possible.
The most important thing for you to do is look after yourself and the people around you – knowing that we’ll still be here if you need us.
As things change and we gain more clarity on the situation, we’ll be updating our blogs with anything new you should know, so please check back regularly to make sure you get the latest updates from us.
For clinicians, there is advice on the NHS England website on what to do if a patient presents themselves with Coronavirus. For Primary Care information GOV UK website. For Secondary Care information visit the NHS England website.
