When it comes to looking after your teeth, prevention is better than cure. That’s why we want to make it easy for you to regularly visit your dentist. Denplan Essentials is a simple way to spread the cost of your check-ups and hygiene appointments, so you’ll always get expert advice and care, keeping your teeth in great condition.
Denplan Essentials can cover:
An agreed number of dental examinations and hygiene appointments (decided by your practice)
Routine x-rays as required
Preventive dental advice
Discount on restorative treatment (decided by your practice)
Denplan Care
We know dental treatment can be costly but looking after your dental health is vital. Denplan Care covers you for a wide range of dental treatments, so you’ll be able to see a dentist whenever you need to, without worrying about the cost.
Denplan Care can cover:
An agreed number of dental examinations and hygiene appointments (decided by your practice)
Routine x-rays as required
Preventive dental advice
Any clinically necessary fillings
Major restorative treatments deemed clinically necessary, as outlined in your contract - including crowns, bridges, dentures, and extractions (lab fees not included)
Denplan Hygiene
An affordable way for you to keep up the habit of regular hygiene treatments, whilst helping you to budget and spread the costs. Your dentist will set a monthly fee, depending on how many hygiene appointments are clinically necessary.
Denplan for Children
A great way to keep up the habit of regular visits to the dentist for your child, without you worrying about unexpected bills.
Denplan Membership
A simple monthly budgeting plan that guarantees you a place with your registered dentist. Some dentists offer discounts on routine and restorative treatments as part of this plan - this is at the dentists' discretion.

Optional insurance upgrades
There is also the option to take out Denplan Supplementary Insurance, provided by Simplyhealth Access, which can cover dental emergencies or clinically necessary implants.
Denplan Supplementary Insurance
For an additional 60p per person, per month, you'll get extra benefits, and cover towards worldwide dental injuries, dental emergencies and mouth cancer, when you're more than 40 miles from your registered dental practice.
Denplan Implant Upgrade Cover
For just £2.25 per person, per month, you’ll be covered for up to a maximum of £20,000 per incident and £2,100 per dental implant fixture following a dental injury, should your dentist feel an implant is clinically necessary.
