Over the past month, I have been on the move, connecting with our valued members and their teams, sharing knowledge, and reinforcing our commitment to supporting them all in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

I started this month with an inspiring visit to the Practi team, who introduced their dynamic platform designed to assist in the explanation of treatment journeys, appointment by appointment, also offering patients reassurance with their frequently asked question section and entering the world of dental finance by providing finance options to practices and their patients, to assist in the take-up of treatments.

Their intuitive tools and fresh approach to operational efficiency sparked great conversations around how technology can support both clinical teams and patient journeys. It was a pleasure to explore how platforms like Practi can complement Denplan’s ethos of quality care and continuous improvement.

Next, I joined the PortmanDentex Practice Managers Meet & Greet, where we had the opportunity to engage with a fantastic group of practice leaders. The session focused on how Denplan products can be seamlessly integrated into their practices, not just as patient payment plans, but as tools to elevate patient engagement and loyalty.

We discussed promotional strategies, shared success stories, and explored how Denplan’s flexible plans can support both business growth and patient satisfaction.

My travels then took me to Wolverhampton for the Tri-Dental Training Skills and Conference, a standout event packed with learning and collaboration. Academy Trainer Jo Banks delivered a powerful and thought-provoking session on Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, encouraging open dialogue and equipping teams with the knowledge to foster safe, respectful environments.

Following Jo’s session, Lianne Scott-Munden, Clinical Services Lead, and I led a practical workshop on the Care Assessment changes and Care Contract guidance, guiding attendees through the updates and offering actionable advice on implementation. We wrapped up with a spotlight on the BrightBites programme in partnership with Dentaid, our engaging oral health education resource, which continues to be a favourite among teams and children alike for its fun, accessible approach to dental health and wellbeing .

To round off my travels, I made a final stop in Birmingham for a Dine with Denplan evening, where I connected with member dentists from across the Midlands. These informal gatherings are a wonderful way to share updates, gather feedback, and celebrate the community spirit that defines Denplan. Conversations ranged from clinical challenges to patient communication strategies, all underscored by a shared commitment to delivering care that’s not only clinically excellent but also deeply patient-centred.

Throughout all my outings, one message rang clear: Denplan is more than a provider, it's a trusted support system for both patients and clinicians. Whether through training, technology, or tailored support, we’re here to help practices thrive and ensure every patient receives the care, attention, and experience they deserve.

Thank you to all the teams we met for your enthusiasm, insights, and dedication to excellence.
