Patient safety is our priority and all our Denplan member dentists are fully focused on the safety of you as well as their practice staff. They are working to all UK jurisdictions’ guidelines to ensure that they are able to provide both urgent and non-urgent treatment in a safe environment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and practicing stringent cross infection control measures.
Maintaining good oral health is vital in maintaining your overall health and ensuring you visit the dentist regularly remains important. Our member practices remain open for your care and they will be able to provide you with information and guidance on how they will be able to treat you safely within the guidelines of the UK jurisdiction they work in.
We are committed to providing continued support to Denplan patients during these unprecedented times.
There are a range of measures available to provide assistance to anyone who would like to explore their payment options.
We would however, recommend in the first instance that patients speak to their dentist for advice as they will be able to better discuss specific, individual clinical needs and recommend the best way forward.
Alternative products and other options may also be available.

A dental plan like Denplan makes dental treatment easy to afford. Your dentist will work out the costs of the treatment you need. You will then be given a monthly fee to cover those costs. Plans can cover any of a range of treatments, such as check-ups, x-rays and hygienist visits.
Denplan dental plans are suited to your oral health needs. From preventive care plans through to plans that cover restorative treatment, our plans are offered at over 6,700 dentists across the UK.
Speak to your dentist today to find out how a Denplan payment plan can help you.
A Denplan payment plan is tailored to you. There is no reason to pay for work you don't need. Why would you? With a dental payment plan from Denplan, your dentist projects what treatments you are likely to need. The treatment costs are set out and you pay a monthly fee to cover the work.
As long as your dentist offers Denplan and any previous work has been complete, you'll be able to sign up.
On the first visit to your chosen member dentist, they will examine your teeth to make sure you’re dentally fit. Your dentist will discuss the findings with you, set a bespoke monthly price and agree the contract.
As soon as you receive your welcome pack, you'll be able to receive treatment.

Your Denplan is slightly different to traditional insurance as it enables patients to spread the cost of their dental care over 12 months to avoid large unexpected bills.
The contract you have is held between you and your dentist, and your payment plan is tailored depending on your dentist’s assessment of your oral health. To cover you for all the annual treatment that falls under your plan, we pass your monthly fee on to your dentist.
Because of this, if you have any queries regarding your contract or your payments, please call your practice who will be able to help. Please be aware that we are unable to refund your monthly payments without your dentist directly giving us authorisation to do so.
There is a quick and simple process in place for practices to authorise refunds should they wish to do so and you will not need to contact us again if a refund has been authorised.
You can find out your cover, options and make changes regarding your plan on the MyDenplan portal. If you do need to contact us, the best way is by email which you can find at www.denplan.co.uk/patients/contact-us.
