The best place to get answers to your queries around coronavirus, payment breaks, refunds and PPE is through our hub, available here.
We advise all patients to contact their registered dental practice to discuss their plan in the first instance. Denplan is a budgeting scheme where you spread the cost of routine and unexpected treatment in to monthly payments therefore the plan isn't an insurance where you may be able to claim a refund.
We act as an administrator for your dentist and pass your payments on to them to cover you under your plan. As we are not in possession of your monthly payments, we are not able to authorise a refund. The contract you hold is with your dentist and they can discuss specific clinical and associated payment needs to recommend the best way forward. If the dentist feels a refund is applicable, what they need to do is let us know directly so we can action this for you. Unfortunately we cannot take this advice from patients without first being notified by the dentist.
Denplan member dentists set their own prices for all consultations and treatments, therefore if you have concerns over the fees you're being charged please speak to your dental practice.
Thank you.
The simplest and quickest way to do this is through your MyDenplan account.
Don't worry if you haven't logged in before, all you need is your policy registration number and personal details, and you can register here.

If it's been a while since you last had a plan with us, it may be worth going directly to your practice. As Denplan fees are set by the dentist based on your dental health, they may need to give you a check up to make sure nothing has changed since you last had an active plan with us.
Thank you.
Your Direct Debit will collect on the 01st of each month and show on your bank statement as 'Denplan Ltd.' Please be aware that we are currently unable to offer alternative Direct Debit collection dates. Should you miss a Direct Debit payment we will automatically collect the outstanding amount along with your normal monthly payment the following month. If your plan is unpaid for more than 2 collection dates, please be aware that your plan will automatically be cancelled. We will notify you of any missed payments or automated cancellations.

We're sorry to hear you're thinking of cancelling your plan. If you haven't already done so, we'd recommend speaking to your dental practice in the first instance to discuss options for your future dental treatment.
If you want to proceed with your cancellation, you can do so using the "Cancel my plan" button below. Please be aware, you must be the payer for your plan to be able to use this service and all cancellations are subject to a 21 day notice period.
If you don't wish to cancel your plan at this stage but have questions relating to cancelling, you can get in touch with us by filling in the online contact form below.
It's easy to join Denplan, the best place to find out more information and how to join is available here.
Each Denplan dentist has their own plans and fees, so all you need to do is call one close to you or pop in and ask about joining Denplan. Depending on your choice of cover you may need to have an assessment so the plan can be tailored, or simply fill in a form. All joining takes place directly in the dental practice so give one a call today to join.
If you already have a plan with us but would like to add another member to it, the joining process is exactly the same. Each plan is tailored to each patient and although plans can often be combined, what you pay and what you are covered for can differ depending on your dental needs. If you want to pay for another members plan, just make sure you fill in the payment details on the registration form which you can get from your dental practice.
Thank you
If you have the Denplan Supplementary Insurance as part of your policy, are over 40 miles from you dentist and in need of an emergency appointment, phone our Emergency Helpline on 0800 844 999 who will help to find an appointment. If you are within 40 miles please contact your dentist in the first instance.
Alternatively, if you have the insurance and have arranged your own appointment, keep the receipt and send in a claim form to Denplan for reimbursement up to policy limits. You can submit a claim form here.
Please be aware that you must have opted in to be covered under the Supplementary Insurance and will need to be over 40 miles to be covered for temporary emergency treatment up to your benefit limits with another dentist, other than your own. If you have had a dental injury, please get in touch with your dentist first and contact us after regarding your cover.
If you have made a claim and have a query about it, please fill in the form below and make sure you add your claim reference number which should be on the top right hand side of your letter.
