Frequently asked questions
If you have questions about your fees, please contact your dental practice.
Denplan's role is administrative only - we collect your monthly payments on behalf of your practice.
How are my monthly Denplan fees set?
Your monthly fees are set by your dental practice and ensure they maintain the high quality of care you receive. They take into account many factors, such as the increased cost of equipment, staff training, and building maintenance, among others. Your monthly payment is also based on your individual dental health and determined on the care and treatment your dentist expects to provide you over the next 12 months.
If you have any concerns over your monthly fees please speak to your registered practice.
How does my plan work?
Your Denplan payment plan spreads the cost of your routine dental care for the year across 12 months, so you can attend your appointments with the confidence that you’ve already paid. Denplan collects your payments and passes them on to your dental practice.
If you have chosen to add Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover, provided by Simplyhealth Access, your contract is with Simplyhealth Access. Denplan administers the policy on their behalf.
Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover costs 60p per person, per month, and helps towards the unexpected treatment costs arising from dental emergencies or injuries.
How can I update my details?
Log in to MyDenplan to update your details online. You'll need your Paygroup ID (found on page 1 of your Fee Rate Mailing booklet), along with the payer’s surname and date of birth. Alternatively, you can contact us for assistance.
Is there a notice period if I ever wish to cancel my Denplan payments?
You will need to speak to your dental practice if you would like to cancel your plan or move to another dental practice. Your dentist can discuss the most suitable options to help support your dental needs.
If you’d like to cancel your Denplan Dental Emergency and Injury Cover, please contact us here. If you wish to cancel, we require 21 days' notice.
