How do I find out what's included in my plan?

To find out what’s included in your plan, all you need to do is speak to your registered dentist.

When you first join a Denplan payment plan, your dentist will explain how your plan will be tailored to you and if anything is excluded. You’ll both sign a contract to confirm that you have agreed these details, and then you’ll be ready to start making use of your plan.

Who sets my fees?

Your fees are set by your registered dentist and are individual to their practice. They are set in accordance to your oral health and personal dental needs and the type of payment plan offered by your practice.

Where do my payments go?

The payments you make to Simplyhealth Professionals are passed on to your registered dentist, as your contract is with them.

If I need a crown or other restoration built, are laboratory fees covered by my plan?

No, laboratory fees are not covered by your Denplan payment plan. You will need to settle this directly with your dentist.

Am I covered abroad?

All of our payment plans include Denplan Supplementary Insurance at no extra cost. This is arranged for you to provide cover towards the cost of dental treatment in the event of a dental injury or emergency, and can be used in the UK and abroad.

If you are abroad and have a dental emergency, visit our dental emergency support page to find out what to do next.

If you’re going on a trip abroad, it’s a good idea to make a note of your personal registration number (to find this you can log in to My Denplan or check your joining letter) and save our 24-Hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline number - +441962 844999.

What should I do in an emergency?

If you have a dental emergency please visit our dental emergency support page for advice on what to do next.

Can I visit any Denplan provider?

No. Your payments are passed on to your registered dentist; therefore you should visit them for your routine dental care.

In an emergency away from home you may be covered to visit a different member dentist, for more information on this see our Dental emergency support page.
